Description of the Dawei Wavestone WRB

This carbon-arylate blade has been getting great reviews online. It's a fast blade, maybe a touch slower than the ultra-fast Dynasty Hinoki Carbon. It's got a lot of jump in its loops. It has pretty good control and is on the stiffer side of the spectrum. The outer plies are limba. I've had Dawei re-make these with a nicer handle (light grey, with red and white stripes, as opposed to the old purple handle (though there are some purple handles available if you'd like).

This is a WRB blade, so there's a hollow section in the handle which shifts the center of gravity closer to the upper regions of the blade face (where the ball makes contact), increasing the power of your shots. Both the flared and penhold versions are WRB. The purple-handle old model comes in heavier at between 90-100g, but the new grey-and-red handle version is around 85g.
